Overall 1 star because the fake, stacked leather heels scuffed and peeled off within first two weeks of wearing these boots. SO disappointing. I tried to carefully glue the material back down but the material ended up peeling away further and looks terrible. So now I have a $129 pair of boots that look great everywhere else (and are pretty comfortable!) but the plastic (cork?) heel under the fake "stacked leather" wrapping shows and looks terrible. :(

I love my new blue birkinstocks.I usually wear an *American *6.5 or7.00 I have learned through trial and error that in Birkie land my feet are a 5 to 5.5. Once the learning curve has been embraced things in my shoe world are delightful!

I bought these in 6.5, which were a bit snug so I then bought them in size 7. When I got the size 7s I was somewhat surprised to see that the shoe is strikingly different. In Amazon reviews I noticed people had the same issue and suspected they was counterfeit. However I think I have found the answer. The 6.5 pair I got was made in Ethiopia while the 7 was made in China. The brand logo is clearer and smaller on the size 7 and the leather is smoother but also thinner and has less wrinkles on the inside. The color is a very different shade of brown as well. The zigzag stitching around the shoe is in a different width and closer to the edge. The criss cross detail at the back is also a different width. I don't know if this means it is better or worse quality or just neutral differences. The 6.5 fit better for me so if I keep either it would be those. The flats are cute and pretty comfortable though the lack of consistency is a red flag to customers, and hopefully this info and the pics will be helpful in that respect.

Too short. Toe was visible under the leather. I am size 11 so no way to size up. Could be good for someone with a smaller size who could size up if necessary. Cute tho. #sweepstakes.
